The IDM Fund's core Concept Definition and Production streams no longer take applications: Ontario Creates' official page states its 'new IP (Intellectual Property) Fund has replaced the Interactive Digital Media Fund' (January 2025). Video game and XR studios now apply to the IP Fund's Interactive Content stream (Pre-Production $15,000-$50,000; Production $50,000 up to $250,000-$500,000, up to 50% of eligible Ontario expenses). Related supports, Global Market Development, Futures Forward, the Screen Marketing and Discoverability Program, continue separately.

Is the IDM Fund gone entirely?
The Concept Definition and Production streams were folded into the IP Fund's Interactive Content stream. Other interactive-sector supports continue under their own names: Global Market Development, Futures Forward (early-stage companies), the Screen Marketing and Discoverability Program (which replaced the Discoverability and Commercialization Program), and the Enterprise Fund.
